Somewhere in Earth, there exist a place
where the grass can meet the sun-
Where flowers and weeds can live in peace
and where bunnies can play and run.

I found this place in a dream of mine
and I played all day and night-
and when I woke up, I actually cried
for it was a most beautiful sight.

I went to go find my haven of wonder
I looked everywhere, low and high-
I didn't spot a root, and I made a blunder
and fell in the middle of the night.

And what broke my fall? Of all the things
it was a large puddle of water-
Now I was wet and hopelessly lost
I felt this quest couldn't get harder.

But then I heard a voice, sweet and soft
It called my name out loud
I stood up and look all about
but I heard not one single sound.

And then it came again, louder this time
and I suddenly I came to look down.
It was the puddle calling to me!
Clearly, my brain wasn't sound!

It said to me: "is this what you seek?"
and I beheld a glorious view
It was my haven of flowers and peace!
Deep in my heart I knew!

I felt I was dreaming so I humored the thing
and fell down with a "Yes! Yes! Yes!
The puddle then said "then fall into me"
And you know what? I went right ahead.

I slipped through the puddle which was actually a portal
for the water was only an inch thick
I fell into my dreamland of flowers and beauty
by which a golden sun it was lit!

I'd found my haven! I rejoiced and laughed
I felt happy enough to bust!
"I'll teach you to make me cry in my sleep"
and I burned the whole place to dust.
